- 2 ounces good-quality silver or blanco Tequila
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice (~ ½ lime)
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed blood orange juice (~ ¼ orange)
- 4 to 6 ounces of good quality ginger beer
- Lime slice and blood orange slice (for garnish)
- Fill a copper mug (or highball glasses) with ice.
- Add Tequila, lime juice and blood orange juice.
- Top with ginger beer and stir.
- Garnish with a lime and blood orange slices.
* Be sure to use ginger beer and not ginger ale.
