minutes before serving, place tequila and jalapeño slices in a rocks glass.
Just before serving, add freshly squeezed lime juice and agave syrup (if using) and stir.

* Don’t worry if you don’t have time to ‘marinate’ the jalapeño pepper – the drink will still be tasty. * Before squeezing the lime, heat it in a microwave for about 20 seconds and then rub it back and forth on the counter top. This easy two-step process results in more juice per piece of fruit.
